About Us

The Downunder Social Club of Calgary is a not-for-profit organization based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. 
The purpose of the club is to bring Australians and New Zealanders living in Calgary together for social events, keep them informed about news back home, and ward-off the homesick blues. 

Membership

Club membership is open to all Aussies, Kiwis, their families and others who have an affiliation with Australia or New Zealand. Annual membership is $25 for a family, or $15 for a single.  You can sign up or renew your membership by clicking on Join.  Membership funds go towards subsidising events throughout the year, especially the Christmas party (gifts for the kids).

A recent visit by the Australian High Commissioner to Canada, Mr Justin Brown to introduce the Honorary Consul to Calgary Mr Paul Nelson that the club was invited to .  One of our members captured the introduction on his flip camera.
